Our full, diagnostic test will provide you with a complete picture of your child's ear health.
Our complete hearing test is one of the most advanced tests available. The cost of the hearing test is from £90 to and your appointment will last between 45 and 90 minutes. After the hearing test is complete you will receive an in depth report of your child's health of their outer, middle and inner ear.
The appointment is for a Children's Hearing Test not hearing needs assessment. This appointment should be conducted with the support of your child’s education provider. It is also very important that your child’s GP is informed of the outcomes of the appointment so that your child can continue receiving very specialised NHS paediatric audiological care.

As part of the hearing tests for children, the Audiologist will look inside the ear with a medical instrument which will show the health of the ear canal and ear drum.
In the hearing tests for children, you will be shown a live video of the inside of your child's ear including key points such as the ear canal and ear drum with a full explanation along the way.
An acoustic evaluation of the condition of the middle ear eardrum and the conduction bones is an important part in the hearing tests for children. By creating variations of air pressure in the ear canal we can detect Glue Ear.
Pure Tone Audiometry with Air-Conduction and Bone-Conduction behavioural testing is the main part of a children's hearing test. The full spectrum of frequencies tested allow us to understand the complete hearing ability and location of hearing loss in the auditory pathway. The objective testing also has the same outcomes.
Your Audiologist will talk you through the children's hearing test results and will be able to diagnose and let you know what is causing their hearing problem.
We will recommend the best solution to you based on your children's hearing test result.
... Are all signs you should book hearing tests for children
